Emily Breitkopf
Head of Management
Emily is an active member of the publishing community as the current Art Director for B222 and The Ampersand Review’s previous Publishing & Web intern for Issue #3. When it comes to fiction and art, she often reaches toward darker worlds, themes, and aesthetics and aims to bring these stories to life with a future career in the manga industry.

Hazel Mekkattukulam
Management
Hazel is a writer and editor who has worked on several projects in her duration with the CW&P program. She was a writer and interviewer for Civilian Magazine and the Everybody’s Got A Story research project and is currently a founder and editor at Tough Topics Press and B222.

Nayha Hamid
Management
Nayha is a Pakistani-Canadian writer and editor. With a passion for business and English, she has published many editorials with Perspective Marketing. In her personal time, she enjoys writing poetry, reading fantasy fiction, and playing with her four cats. She aims to become a published author one day.

Suha Tariq
Management Team Member
Suha is a Canadian writer and editor residing in Milton, Ontario. She works as a freelance writer and has previously published literary book reviews and interviews as the Publishing & Web Intern for The Ampersand Review of Writing & Publishing. She is the 2023 winner of Gimaa's Allyship Poetry Contest and has also been featured on Canada One News for their “Students In A Pandemic” special.

Jade Gibbs
Editor
Jade Gibbs (She/Her) is bilingual and currently learning Spanish and German. She’s won the Regional OSSTF/FEESO Student Achievement Awards, and her most recent print publication is with Wingless Dreamer. She plans to travel, immersing herself in language and culture, with a pen and paper by her side.

Editor
Emily LaRose is a writer, editor, and avid reader from Huntsville, Ontario. She has written several articles and edited for Love is Moving magazine. Her goal is to one day own a bookstore, inspiring the next generation of readers. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry and spending time in nature.

Monica Ledo
Editor
Monica resides in Mississauga, Ontario, and has always had an immense passion for reading and writing, ever since she was a kid. She is the current Editorial Assistant for the Ripple Foundation, a creative literacy organization, and was on the 2023 Sheridan Reads Committee. In 2022, she received the Sheridan Student Union CW&P Award for Academic Excellence.

Nicole Lewis
Head of Editoral
Nicole Lewis is an Indian-pansexual writer and editor who has been living in Canada for the majority of her life. She is currently in the process of writing and self-publishing her novel, Revenge of the Superheroes. In her free time, Nicole likes to daydream about alternate realities concerning her favourite books and movies.

Stephanie Pugliese
Editor
Stephanie Pugliese is an editor and writer who loves to tell creepy and bone-chilling stories. Alongside a close friend, she worked to establish Tough Topics Press, an imprint that focuses on diversity and equality. She is the fiction editor and one of the founding members of B222.

Noémi Blom
Art and Layout Coordinator
Noémi is a Quebec-born publishing enthusiast whose main goal is to promote literacy. She has done so by joining the 2023 Sheridan Reads committee, by founding and being the Editor-in-Chief of B222, and will continue to do so by joining the team at the Salon du livre de l’Estrie in April.

Khayrun Gure
Social Media Manager
Khayrun is a Canadian writer and reseller on platforms such as eBay and Poshmark. She has written for Canyon Entertainment Group. She is from Toronto and currently lives in Brampton, Ontario. During her free time, she enjoys watching documentaries, reading non-fiction stories, and writing poetry.

Daisy Sheps
Head of Promotion
Daisy is a writer, editor, and reader who was born and raised in Toronto. She is the co-author of the children’s book A Glitch in the Garden, and her lyric essay 5-4-3-2-1 was published in Serendipty NewsMag. She will be pursuing her master’s degree in English to study the romance and erotica genres and their cultural and literary significance.

Brianna Wallace

Brianna Wallace is a Jamaican-Canadian writer who is passionate about publishing and writing. She mainly writes fiction and creative nonfiction. In addition, she loves anime, manga, and reading foreign literature. She writes stories centered around black joy rather than pain.
